What areas do you serve?
We serve Houston, Missouri City, Pearland, Sugar Land, Stafford, and surrounding communities. Longer and rural routes are reviewed individually.
Do you transport ambulatory passengers?
Yes. Choose ambulatory or wheelchair transportation when requesting your quote.
How is my quote calculated?
Your personalized estimate includes your service, route, time and applicable first-ride savings. Final availability and special requirements are reviewed before confirmation.
Do you provide round-trip service?
Yes. Select Round Trip in the quote form. Each trip leg and its mileage are included in the estimate.
What is the dialysis program?
Eligible local riders may receive three round trips per week through a weekly program, subject to route, schedule, and availability.
Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
Medical Life Line currently serves private-pay clients. Call us if you are unsure whether your ride can be arranged privately.
How early should I book?
Book as early as possible. Short-notice rides depend on vehicle and schedule availability.
Are you an ambulance service?
No. We provide non-emergency wheelchair transportation and do not provide emergency medical treatment. Call 911 for an emergency.
Can a caregiver ride with the passenger?
A caregiver may be able to ride when arranged in advance and seating is available. Include this need when requesting your ride.
How do I confirm my ride?
After you request your ride, we review the details and availability, then text or email you a secure link to pay a 50% deposit. Your ride is confirmed once the deposit is paid. The balance is due after the trip.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel at least 24 hours before your pickup time for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, and no-shows, are charged 50% of the affected fare, and your deposit counts toward that charge. If we ever have to cancel, you get a full refund.
Will you wait for me?
Every pickup includes 15 minutes of free waiting. If you need us to wait longer, or to stay during your appointment, please arrange it in advance. Arranged waiting is $15 for each started 15 minutes after the free 15.
Can I book a ride for today?
Often, yes, depending on the schedule. Same-day bookings include a $25 same-day fee, shown in your estimate before you request the ride.
Should I give my appointment time or pickup time?
Both, if you can. Tell us when you need to arrive, and choose a pickup time. We confirm the final pickup time so you arrive with enough time to check in.
What if I don't know when my appointment will end?
Choose a round trip and select that you'll call when ready. We plan your return with you, and the return pickup time is confirmed based on the schedule.
Do you transport oxygen or medical equipment?
No. We transport ambulatory and wheelchair riders only. We do not transport oxygen or medical equipment, and we are not an ambulance service.
What does the first-ride discount cover?
Your first booking with us receives 20% off the transportation fare, up to $25. It does not apply to extra fees or to dialysis packages.
